Hair for Hope 2009 is an event, which invites members of the public to shave their heads to show their support for children with cancer.
A public event which creates much-needed awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore. It is also a lovely manner of conveying your acceptance and support for children with cancer and their families.
Children under-going chemotherapy often lose their self-esteem. We need to show them that there is nothing wrong in losing their hair or being bald.
The hair for hope 2009 hopes to raise funds to help children with cancer and their families and build a community of support for them.
Every shaven head represents an understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to.

The shaving event will be held at Velocity@Novena Square (main floor atrium) on 5 July 2009 (Sunday), from 12pm to 7pm. We'll be there!
